Very interesting site - I used to be an airhostess on DC-8-63 African Safari Airways back in the eighties... flying between Switzerland and Kenya - unforgettable - I am proud, that I could work for years on board of this beautiful airliner...

This is by far my favorite airplane.I have flown them all over the world.Last one I flew was for Cargo Lion out of LUX.My position was flight engineer.

This airplane is the reason why I still love aviation! as a little kid my father(rip) took me flying all over the caribbean many beautiful and unforgetable times nothing in this world could be compare to this memories the best airplane ever built, too bad for those who didnt have the opportuniy!! if you know of some one that is hiring at dhl please let me know I will always owe you!!! ft lauderdale. Great site,I worked as a mech for Pan Am on DC-8's in the early 60's then on to TIA as a Maint Rep 68 thru 74 (I always remember flying on those cattle flts to Puenta Arenas,Chile(Approx 90,000 lbs.of live cows.Also some to Osan,Korea and Taiwan.Retired 3 years ago from UPS you guessed it,working as a mech on DC-8's at SDF than as a Maint Sup at RFD(UGH)Cold.Finally retired and living the good life in sunny Ft.Myers.FL
