Hello all,
I just stumbled onto this website and I think it is great. I too, have had many fond memories flying the great DC-8's all over the world for about 10 years. It was my first jet so I have a soft spot in my heart for this great bird. I noticed in reading these comments that there are a few mechanics that hate the DC-8s. Well, I know many mechanics that love the DC-8s, for what it's worth. I feel that the DC-8 is one of the finest and certainly one of the strongest aircraft ever built. I flew the DC-8/20/30/50 &60 & some cargo 8s as well. Keep up the good work here.

Can't believe I only discovered this sit today. Good to see someone has taken it to hart to keep the dc8osaurus alive. Nice job on the site. As a former 8 driver (62/63/72/73-series) I have very fond memories this bird. Sad to hear the UPS birds will be cut up. Quite sure they could still be flying for another 25 years. BTW the dutch aviation museum in AMS is trying to buy and restore an ex-klm 55...

Best Regards,
Marc

Hello everybody,
I used to fly DC8 with Cygnus Air in Spain. I am looking for somebody who can help me finding DC8 documentation, like QRH. Airline made me return all docs. Please contact me if you can help me with this.

Happy flights
